The Network and System Laboratory is utilized for practical applications in the areas of computer networks, computer systems, hardware and software security, and computer security. It provides all the necessary equipment for students to practice various network traffic scenarios they may encounter in internet infrastructure, understand TCP/IP protocols and data communication, and gain hands-on experience with computer networks.

The laboratory is equipped with essential tools and devices for computer network applications, including backbone switches, routers, repeaters, wireless modems, access points, patch panels, various cabling equipment and cables, racks, IPS (Intrusion Prevention System), and IDS (Intrusion Detection System) hardware and software. Additionally, it includes computers installed with software and operating systems for testing network vulnerabilities.
3. Hardware Used in the Laboratory
The laboratory houses products from various manufacturers, including brands such as Cisco, Enterasys, Extreme Network, and Hes Kablo. These devices ensure comprehensive network simulation and practical learning opportunities for students.
